A trip to Mentawais
Off the Western Sumatran coast in Indonesia, is where a chain of one hundred islets named as the 'Mentawai straight'. Home to 64,000 inhabitants, the Mentawai islands have become a noted destination for surfing, with warm waters, consistent swell and glassy conditions.
With Australia approaching cooler days and cooler waters, we sent Nisi off to continue surfing in the warm sunny Mentawai with Claire Vanders and Frances Borg. Showing off its colourful and beachy personality against blue waves and leafy green palms

Our springsuits were the perfect blend of protection and warmth, even in warmer waters. Shorter cuts for those tropical adventures!
