This October, Nisi has been supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Nisi proudly set up a stall in collaboration with Breast Cancer Research WA (BCRC). The event, named “Paddle for a Purpose,” drew in participants eager to enjoy a day by the ocean while contributing to a cause that affects so many lives.

DAY BY THE OCEAN

Trigg Beach transformed into a vibrant hub of community spirit and compassion. As the sun glistened over the waves, families and friends gathered to partake in the paddle out aimed at raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Our stall was a hive of excitement, featuring a range of colourful pink merchandise and delicious snacks. Every item sold meant not only a great treat for our visitors but also a step toward supporting vital research efforts.

GIVING BACK

At Nisi, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. That’s why we committed to donating 20% of our profits directly to BCRC throughout the entire month of October. It was heartwarming to see our customers not just enjoy our offerings but also engage in meaningful conversations about breast cancer research and the impact their donations could make.

INSPIRING TURNOUT

The turnout was nothing short of amazing! Participants embraced the spirit of the event, with many taking to the water on their surfboards, despite the large wave conditions they powered through. The camaraderie and support was inspiring to see so many people come together for a common cause.

THE IMPACT

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we are thrilled to announce that the event raised an astounding $10,000 for BCRC! This amount will go a long way in funding crucial research initiatives aimed at improving the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
